Company Programs
Take Your Passion to the Next Level
At MDA, every dancer has the opportunity to perform in the studio at our annual Christmas Showcase and Shine on stage at our Annual Recital in the Spring/Summer. We believe every student deserves the excitement of performing and celebrating their accomplishments with family and friends.
For dancers who are looking for even more opportunities to perform, train, and grow throughout the season, Magnolia also offers two additional pathways: Performance Company and Competitive Company
Whether your dancer dreams of performing at community events or competing on stage, our Company Programs provide additional training, performance experiences, and lasting friendships while building confidence, discipline, teamwork, and a genuine love for dance.
We'll help you determine which path is the best fit for your dancer's goals, experience, and commitment level.
Performance Company
A fun performance experience with a manageable commitment.
Performance Company is perfect for dancers who love being on stage and want additional opportunities to perform throughout the season without the demands of a full competitive schedule.
Members continue taking their weekly dance classes while rehearsing for performances at local community events, festivals, parades, and special appearances.
Performance Company is a great fit for dancers who:
-
Love to perform
-
Want additional stage experience
-
Are looking for a flexible commitment
-
Hope to continue building confidence and performance skills
-
May be interested in Competitive Company in the future
Performance Company placements are finalized each September, so there is still an opportunity for interested dancers to join after the regular dance season begins.
Competitive Company
For dedicated dancers seeking advanced training and competition opportunities.
Competitive Company is designed for dancers who are ready to make a greater commitment to their training and personal growth.
Company dancers participate in weekly ballet, technique, conditioning, rehearsals, conventions, and regional competitions while developing strong technical skills, work ethic, leadership, and teamwork.
Our teams range from ages 5–18, with training hours varying based on age and team placement.
Competitive Company is about much more than winning awards. Our goal is to develop confident, respectful, hardworking young people who support one another both inside and outside the studio.
Interested in Joining?
Competitive Company auditions for the 2026–2027 season have concluded, and our teams have been selected.
If your dancer is interested in becoming part of Competitive Company in the future, we encourage them to begin training with us now by enrolling in weekly ballet, technique, and dance classes. Building a strong technical foundation and becoming familiar with Magnolia's instructors and training philosophy is the best preparation for future auditions.
Families interested in additional performance opportunities this season are encouraged to consider Performance Company, with placements finalized in September.
New to Magnolia?
We welcome dancers from both recreational and competitive backgrounds who are looking for a positive, encouraging environment where they can continue growing.
Our instructors take time to get to know each dancer and help determine the program that best supports their goals, experience, and readiness. Above all, we value kindness, teamwork, commitment, and a genuine love for dance.
Whether your dancer is taking their first step beyond recreational classes or preparing for future competitive opportunities, we'd love to welcome your family to Magnolia Dance Academy.
